Lanyards & Magnets & Ties...OH MY!!!

OK...so I have a confession.  Jason and I are not just Disney vacationers---we are AVID Disney vacationers and when we know we're going to be going on a Disney vacation, especially a cruise, we jump right in with both feet.  We love to plan and do special little things...and to find other people who do the same.  So back in 2007, the last time we took a huge trip like this, we were very fortunate to have found an online community called the DisBoards (www.disboards.com)---an online discussion site for Disney fans---and Disney cruises have never been the same for us since!

A Packing We Will Go...

So what does it look like to pack for a month-long vacation, you ask?  It looks like a giant mess!! LOL

Seriously, though, traveling for over a month and knowing you can't possibly take everything you would want or need is more than a little stressful---especially when you consider the luggage limits, weight limits, luggage fees and overweight charges...so we tried to be very thoughtful about how we packed for this trip.

The Things We Do For Vacation....

...so you know they say that all good things come with sacrifice? Well I'm living proof of that!  We have been so looking forward to this vacation and have been planning for nearly 2 full years...but at the same time we've had plenty of anxiety about how we were going to make the trip work.  It's a long trip...and not cheap...and it's international...so we've had more than a little bit of stress about packing and luggage limits and weight, etc....so we knew we had to find whatever ways possible to pack light....and here comes my big sacrifice.
